Today DEFINITELY reminds me of being back at OSU! Lots of lectures, and some homework too ><.
Our first lecture this morning was given to us by DMU's Professor Guirong Song on the Burden of Disease. Having never had these kinds of Public health lectures, I definitely learning a lot about how health fits in the larger view of the world.
However, we did have a little bit of a surprise.....BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR DAVID! We had been planning it as a surprise, and somehow we pulled it off! The cake wasn't huge, but it seemed like everyone (and most importantly: David) enjoyed it!
Then it was back to work. Our next lecturer was an actual Dr.! Dr. Li Ma came to talk to us about Cervical Cancer.
