May 21st- More Field Trips? YAY

I love that we are never in one place very long! Today we got to go hear about Dalian's environment from China's equivalent of the local EPA. Now, I won't try to lie: everyone was pretty much asleep for this visit. ><''' It was a lot less interesting compared to our other visits, so while we all tried our best to pay attention, there was a lot of zoning out involved.

The afternoon got a lot cooler though! Our Chinese buddies are awesome in that they all got us kites!!! So, like the young adults we are, we went kite flying in our business professional clothing and all. :) Let me just say: I'm a boss when it comes to kite flying. XD It was a ton of fun; we even tied three or four spools of string to one kite so it could fly extra high!

After all the fun, however, it was time for work! Final presentations are coming up, so I began working on my project. I decided on doing my presentation on Alzheimer's Disease in the United States and China, but boy is it hard to find information! Not on China, BUT ON THE US. Now it's not that there AREN'T sites with information, but it's been BLOCKED. *sigh* The Firewall of China is certainly a hard wall to overcome. I hope I can find more information than I found tonight. D:
